1.0 OBJECTIVE:-
1.1 To maintain the procedure to maintain cleaning of mass mixture.
2.0 SCOPE:-
2.1 To prevent cross contamination between different products. To ensure error free operations of the machine in area. This procedure is applicable for cleaning of Mass Mixture.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:-
3.1 Execution: Operator.
3.2 Checking: Production officer.

5.0 Procedure
5.1 : Procedure for cleaning
5.1.1 Remove “TO BE CLEAN” tag from equipment.
5.1.2 Turn “OFF” the electric supply & remove the main plug.
5.1.3 Pour approximately 100 lit of Tap water into the Mass mixer and switch on the mixer for 10-15 minutes
5.1.4 Collect the rinse water in a plastic container using a jug and drain it in the washing area.
5.1.5 Rotate the tilting knob in anticlockwise direction to move the Top in Front position.
5.1.6 Rinse the inner part, lid and blade of Mass mixer with 20 liters. of tap water.
5.1.7 Finally rinse it with 10 Liters .of DM water and allow drying it
5.1.8 Cleaning outer parts of the machine using clean lint free clothes in production.
5.1.9 Clean the surrounding area of the machine as per respective SOP.
5.1.10 Affix a “CLEANED EQUIPMENT TAG” on the machine.
5.1.11 Recording the details in log sheet as per annex.1 of this SOP.
5.1.12 Procedure is given below for batch to batch cleaning.
5.1.13 Precaution: Protect electrical parts from water contact.
