1.0 OBJECTIVE:-
1.1 To provide tablets rejection free for packing operation.
2.0 SCOPE:
2.1 This procedure is applicable for inspection of compressed and coated tablets on tablet inspection belt or manually.

5.0 Procedure
5.1 : Check for the cleanliness of Tablet Inspection Belt for Tablets Rejection
5.2 Take Line clearance from Q.A. department as per respective SOP.
5.3 Transfer the drums of Tablet (compressed/coated) from ‘UNCHECKED ‘ quarantine to inspection area using trolley.
5.4 Keeped all the drums/containers of the batch on a pellet. Open one drum and load the tablet into the hopper, remove the container label of empty drum and keep it on a separate pellet to load the inspected tablets
5.5 Affix a ‘Stage label’ on to the machine indicating the details in prescribed format.
5.6 Switch “ON” the mains, switch “ON” the tube light, adjust the flow of tablets on the conveyer Belts from hopper by means of flow control plate and intensity of vibration.
5.7 Collect the good tablets in a clean plastic container lid with poly bag having an appropriate Container label on it indicating the details filled in prescribed format
5.8 On LHS one person will check the tablet from one side and then tablets will get inverted and moves to the person seated on RHS for checking on another side.
5.9 Pick up the Tablets Rejection (rejection like broken tablets, tablets having black particles, poor coating, poor embossing, capped tablets, sticked tablets etc.) and keep in to the drawer.
5.10 Use foot break to stop the belt when required
5.11 Replace the filled drums by empty drum and keep the filled drum aside on the pallets.
5.12 Transfer the drums of inspected tablet labelled “TO BE CHECKED” tag in “CHECKED” quarantine and affix a “TO BE CLEANED” tag on the Inspection machine.
