1.0 OBJECTIVE: 1.1 To lay down the procedure for operating & cleaning of automatic self adhesive labelling machine. 2.0 SCOPE: 2.1 This procedure is applicable for the Operating and Cleaning Procedure For Automatic Self Adhesive Labelling Machine. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY: 3.1 Trained Technician / Operator are responsible for operating and cleaning of the machine as per the procedure mentioned in this SOP. 3.2 Production Officer/ Supervisor are responsible for implementation of the procedure as per this SOP. 3.3 Production Head is responsible for compliance of procedure as per this SOP. 4.0 PROCEDURE: 4.1 Operating Procedure 4.1.1 Before starting of operation, visually checks the cleaning of area and equipment/machine with ‘CLEANED’ label duly filled and signed by production department. Inform IPQA for the verification of cleaning of area and equipment/machine. After clearance by IPQA person, remove the cleaned label and attach in batch record (BPR). Also mention the status of the area on sign board outside the door. 4.1.2 Ensure the checking of label as per BPR and set the label roll in label holder and adjust as per setting. 4.1.3 Switch “ON” the main supply by using the MCB over the panel. 4.1.4 Switch “ON” the heater over the panel. 4.1.5 Press SET button two times. 4.1.6 Press program button 1 to 9 as per requirement. 4.1.7 Enter program number and press ENTER key one times. 4.1.8 Then after press SPEED key one times. 4.1.9 Press the set button and after run the machine. 4.1.10 Set the speed as desire by, rotating black color knob in clockwise or anti clockwise direction. 4.1.11 Record the operation detail in machine log book. 4.1.12 Affix “TO BE CLEANED” label on the machine. To read this SOP Click here SOP for De-cartooning And Cleaning Of Tubes/Pouch From Corrugated Box. 4.2 CLEANING PROCEDURE 4.2.1 Affix “Under Cleaning Label” on the machine and the door out side the respective area. 4.2.2 Remove label from label holder. 4.2.3 Remove rejected labels. Operator will count and give them to the officer for destruction. 4.2.4 Clean the machine and conveyor with moist lint free cloth and if any spot of affixing the label found then clean them with IPA. 4.2.5 Inform Production supervisor/officer to verify. 4.2.6 If found satisfactory affix Cleaned label on machine duly filled and signed (if not then repeat the step no. – 4.2.4). 4.2.7 Record the cleaning detail in Machine Log Book. |
