1.0 OBJECTIVE: 1.1 To lay down the procedure for Operating and Cleaning of Floor Scrubbing Machine. 2.0 SCOPE: 2.1 This procedure is applicable for operating and cleaning procedure of floor scrubbing machine. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY: 3.1 Trained Technician shall be responsible for operating of Floor scrubbing machine as per the procedure mentioned in this SOP. 3.2 Production / Supervisor shall be responsible for implementation of the procedure as per this SOP. 3.3 Head-Production shall be responsible for implementation of this procedure. 4.0 PROCEDURE: 4.1 Machine Cleaning Procedure : 4.1.1 Before starting the machine ensure that machine is properly cleaned. 4.1.2 Ensure the clean water tank should be properly clean. 4.1.3 Clean the dirty water tank until it is free from foreign matter. 4.1.4 Remove both front and back squeegee lip holder. 4.1.5 Remove the squeegee lip and clean them properly. 4.1.6 Clean the suction port under running water. 4.1.7 Clean the float holder with clean water. 4.1.8 Clean the disc brush under clean running water. 4.2 Operating Procedure for Floor Cleaning: 4.2.1 Prepare 0.1%w/v Teepol solution (e.g. 20 gm Teepol in to 20 L of potable water), followed by disinfectant solution. 4.2.2 Fill the fresh water tank of scrubbing machine with soap solution. 4.2.3 Use the pedal to raise/lower the brush head. 4.2.4 Turn the fresh water knob before start the machine. 4.2.5 Pull the handle downward to set the squeegee in working position. 4.2.6 Switch on the main Brush motor and suction turbine switch. 4.2.7 Clean the area with proper handling of machine. 4.2.8 Before stop the machine use the pedal to up the brush. Total volume with water 2.5% V/V Savlon 2.5% V/V Dettol 1000 ml (1.0 Liter) 25 ml. 25 ml. 4.3.2 Fill the fresh water tank of scrubbing machine with Sanitizing agent solution. 4.3.3 Use the pedal to raise/lower the brush head. 4.3.4 Turn the fresh water knob before start the machine. 4.3.5 Pull the handle downward to set the squeegee in working position. 4.3.6 Switch on the main Brush motor and suction turbine switch. 4.3.7 Clean the area with proper handling of machine. 4.3.8 Before stop the machine use the pedal to up the brush. 4.3.9 Sanitize the area with sanitizing agent by floor scrubbing machine. 4.3.10 Cleaning and sanitization done shift start, shift end or “B” type cleaning or either any maintenance work done. 4.3.11 The disinfectant solution shell be rotated weekly i.e. Dettol in 1 week, Savlon in 2 week, Dettol in third week and so on. 5.0 ABBREVIATIONS 5.1 SOP : Standard Operating Procedure 5.2 QA : Quality Assurance 5.3 CC NO : Change Control Number |
