1.0 OBJECTIVE: 1.1 To lay down the Procedure for Storage of In-process Materials in Quarantine area. 2.0 SCOPE: 2.1 This procedure is applicable for Storage of In-process Materials in Quarantine area. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY: 3.1 Operator /Officer/ Executive warehouse & production are responsible for execution of this SOP. 3.2 Production Head and his deputy are responsible for implementation of the procedure as per this SOP. 4.0 PROCEDURE: 4.1 The holding of dispensed RM, PM and bulk before primary filling. 4.2 During the holding time the material shall be kept safely and secured from all kind of deterioration and contamination. 4.3 The storage tank bearing the materials shall be stored in proper storage conditions according to storage requirements and shall be labelled properly. 4.4 Handling of Dispensed Raw Material in to the Day store 4.4.1 Ensure the cleaning of day store. 4.4.2 After complete dispensing of a complete batch, store person will inform production supervisor to receive dispensed row material of respective batch with BMR. 4.4.3 Production supervisor will receive dispensed raw material a batch with proper verification with assurance sheet. 4.4.4 Production supervisor will stage the batch into respective day store for manufacturing. 4.4.5 Production will also maintain the record as per format No Format No. XXX. 4.4.6 Whenever a batch will proceed for manufacturing production supervisor will maintain the logbook and transfer the material to manufacturing area. To Read this SOP Click here SOP for Operating And Cleaning Procedure Of Mini Floor Scrubbing Machine. 4.5 Handling of Bulk transfer & storage in to storage area. 4.5.1 Ensure cleaning of storage tank & storage area. 4.5.2 After batch completion and sampling, bulk will be transfer to storage tank. 4.5.3 Note the storage tank ID in the BMR. 4.5.4 Ensure visual inspection & rinse water report before bulk transfer. 4.5.5 Ensure the weight of empty storage tank and maintain in the BMR. 4.5.6 Transfer the bulk through transfer pump connected with hosepipe. 4.5.7 After complete transfer of bulk, weight the storage tank, mention in the BMR & reconcile for yield. 4.5.8 Production will also maintain the record as per Format No XXX. 4.5.9 Whenever a batch will proceed for filling production supervisor will maintain the logbook and connect the tank with transfer pump of filling area. 5.0 ABBREVIATIONS 5.1 SOP : Standard Operating Procedure 5.2 BPR : Batch Packing Record 5.3 QA : Quality Assurance |
