Procedure For Cleaning and Operation Of Tablet De Dusting and De Burring Machine

1.0 OBJECTIVE:-

1.1 To maintain the procedure for cleaning & operation of tablet de dusting & de burring machine.

2.0 SCOPE: –

2.1 To prevent cross contamination between different products. To ensure error free operation of the machine .This procedure is applicable for cleaning & operation of tablet de dusting & de burring machine.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:-

5.0 Procedure:

5.1 Inspection of Upper & Lower punches:

5.1.1 Observe all the Punches for physically (i.e. for roughness, corrosion, scratches and minor or major damage if any)
5.1.2 Measure Tip Diameter, Barrel Diameter, total length, using vernier callipers.
5.1.3 Make entries in Punch inspection Record (As per Annex No.1 of this SOP.)

5.2 Inspection of Dies:

5.2.1 Observe all the dies for physically (i.e. for roughness, corrosion, scratches and minor or major damage if any)
5.2.2 Measuring the inner diameter, outer diameter and height using the vernier calliper.
5.2.3 Make entries in Die-Inspection record accordingly.
5.2.4 FREQUENCY: Once in a six month.
5.2.5 Affix a “TO BE CLEANED” tag on machine.
5.2.6 PRECAUTION: Adjust the vibration to maintain balance in between flow of inlet and outlet of tablet to avoid chocking up.
