1.0 OBJECTIVE: –
1.1 To prevent mix-up of printed packing materials of different product and different batches of same product after over the carton and labels.
2.0 SCOPE: –
2.1 To prevent misuse or illegal use by unauthorized bodies outside and inside the factory premises Cartons, labels, Inner packs (Both uncoded and over coded) and other packing materials.

5.0 Procedure:
5.1 Receipt:
5.1.1 Check the issued packing materials for quantity before over coding.
5.2 Over coding:
5.2.1 After over coding record the quantity of good over coded material and quantity of over coding rejection in “Batch Packing Record”.
5.3 Usages:
5.3.1 Collect the good over coded material from over coding section and take it to the conveyer belt when packing is to be started
5.3.2 Keep separately on-line rejected packing material while packing.
5.3.3 After completion of packing of a batch, collect rejected material, good over coded excess printed packing material and good excess encoded material separately.
5.3.4 Destroy material collected in step No.5.3.2.and 5.3.3. As per respective SOP
5.4 Balance return:
5.4.1 Return printed uncoded packing material remained in balance, packing material store filling the prescribed details in “Material Return Note”.(MRN)
5.5 Record all details in ‘Printed packing material control record ‘Register reconciliation.
