SOP for Procedure to Cleaning Of Stirrer And Solution Tank

1.0 OBJECTIVE:-

1.1 Procedure for cleaning of Stirrer and solution Tank.

2.0 SCOPE: –

2.1 To prevent cross contamination between different products. To ensure error free operation of the machine. This procedure is applicable for cleaning of Stirrer and solution Tank.

5.1 Procedure for cleaning Stirrer And Solution Tank

5.1.1 Turn “OFF” the electric supply & Remove the Plug.
5.1.2 Dismantled the rod of stirrer from the motor and take the stirrer & Tank.
5.1.3 Wash the rod & Tank with tap water and remove adhered mass using non-fibber releasing scrubber and again wash to completely make them free from any adhered material.
5.1.4 Rinse using DM water and dry clean with a clean lint free piece of cloth.
5.1.5 Clean the stand, motor & other peripheral part of stirrer with clean piece of cloth.
5.1.6 Carefully install the clean rod with motor in original position and check for the functional status by putting the switch on.
5.1.7 Affix a “CLEANED” tag on it.
