5.1 Operation of digital balance
5.1.1 Check whether the instrument is calibrated or not. Instrument should be calibrated before use.
5.1.2 Turn on the power, the indicator performs self-checking and displays current voltage of battery and go into weighing mode. Display will show 0.00.
5.1.3 Put the weight on the balance which is to be weighed.
5.1.4 After weighing, remove the weight from the balance.
5.1.5 After using instrument, switch off of the instrument.
5.1.6 If any error is found in balance, inform maintenance dept. for rectification of the balance and put the label as ‘BALANCE UNDER MAINTENANCE ‘.
5.1.7 Do not apply a shock or a load on the pan that is beyond the weighing range.
5.1.8 Use only 230 V AC 50 Hz electric supply with proper earthing.
5.2 CALIBRATION of digital balance
5.1.1 Frequency for calibration of balance is daily before use.
5.1.2 Turn on the power, the indicator performs self-checking and displays current voltage of battery and go into weighing mode. Display will show 0.00.
5.1.3 Press FUNC + CE key, [d *] will be displayed.
5.1.4 Input the updated interval [d 1]. For this press ZERO key once to change the value to ‘1’ & press HOLD key for confirmation.
5.1.5 Display will show [d P *]. Input updated decimal [d P 2] by pressing ZERO key two times to change the value to ‘2’ & press HOLD key for confirmation
5.1.6 Display will show [F*]. Input capacity of balance [15000] for 150 kg by pressing ZERO key one time, then press TARE key one time and then press ZERO key five times and then press TARE key three times & press HOLD key for confirmation
5.1.7 Display will show [unload]. Press HOLD key. Display will show [Load].
5.1.8 Load 80 kg weight.
5.1.9 Input the actual weight of loaded weight i.e. [8000] by pressing ZERO key eight times, then press TARE key three times & press HOLD key for confirmation. Press HOLD key one more time.
5.1.10 Further input the actual weight of loaded weight i.e. [8000] by pressing ZERO key eight times, then press TARE key three times & press HOLD key for confirmation.
5.1.11 Display will show [b t 0].
5.1.12 Further input the actual weight of loaded weight i.e. [8000] by pressing ZERO key eight times, then press TARE key three times & press HOLD key for confirmation.
5.1.13 Display will show the actual weight.
5.1.14 Calibration is over for 80 kg weight. Similarly also calibrate the balance for 10 kg & 50 kg.
