1.0 OBJECTIVE:

1.1 To prevent mix-up of stereos of different products and difference batches of same product.

2.0 SCOPE: –

2.1 To get qualitative over coding. To provide a written procedure for receipt, issue, use and destruction of stereos. This procedure is applicable to Rubber (grooved & flat) and Nylon (flat) stereos. Procedure for stereos of different products and difference batches of same product.

3.1 Packing Supervisor (Tablet/capsule products)
3.2 Production Executive

4.0 ACCOUNTABILITY:

4.1 Head of Department.

5.0 Procedure:

5.1.1 Place order for stereos as soon as you get the weekly production planning or any intermediate additional planning, Product and Batch number wise requirement as per the details given in BPR And record in stereo register.
5.1.2 Get it approved by department head.
5.1.3 Upon receipt, check the number of stereos against requirement and also check the details of the same by stamping it on the or back side of requisition and if found ok, sign the respective column of stereo control register.
5.1.4 Issue to the machine operator upon product to product and batch to batch requirement and enter the initials of receiving operator in the Register.
5.1.5 Collect tablets in polyethylene bag and Packing Material Waste separately.
5.1.6 Storage/usage of de-foiled Tablets:
5.1.7 If strip/Blister is de-foiled on-line, then after inspecting repack the good tablets and destroy non recoverable rejection as per respective SOP, Otherwise store and use de-foiled “Recoverable Rejection” Tablets as per respective SOP
5.1.8 SAFETY: Do not insert finger in between rollers of de-foiling Machine when it is under operation batches.
