1.0 OBJECTIVE:-
1.1 To repack the product on line if the tablet is physically intact and not of non-recoverable type for Defueling of rejected Blisters/Strips using de-foiling machine.
2.0 SCOPE: –
2.1 To destroy non-recoverable rejection type of tablets. Defueling of rejected Blisters/Strips using de-foiling machine or manually.

5.0 Procedure:
5.1.1 Using De foiling Machine:
5.1.2 At the end of packing collect rejected Strips/Blisters from the conveyer belt.
5.1.3 Switch “ON” the mains and insert strips one by one and collect the tablet and packing material waste separately.
5.1.4 Manually:
5.1.5 Open one by one strip /Blister using thumb and finger by tarring the strip or pressing the blister cavities.
5.1.6 Collect tablets in polyethylene bag and Packing Material Waste separately.
5.1.7 Storage/usage of de-foiled Tablets:
5.1.8 If strip/Blister is de-foiled on-line, then after inspecting repack the good tablets and destroy non recoverable rejection as per respective SOP, Otherwise store and use de-foiled “Recoverable Rejection” Tablets as per respective SOP.
5.1.9 SAFETY: Do not insert finger in between rollers of de-foiling Machine when it is under operation.
