1.0 OBJECTIVE: 1.1 To lay down a procedure for decartooning and cleaning of Tubes/pouch from corrugated box. 2.0 SCOPE: 2.1 This procedure is applicable for decartooning and cleaning of Tubes/pouch from corrugated box. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY: 3.1 Trained personnel shall be responsible for check the Tubes/pouch during Cartooning as per the procedure mentioned in this SOP. 3.2 Production Officer/Supervisor shall be responsible for implementation of the procedure as per this SOP. 3.3 Head of Production shall be responsible for compliance of procedure as per SOP. To read this SOP click here SOP for Operating and Cleaning Of Two Head Tube Filling Machine. 4.0 PROCEDURE: 4.1 Get the tube issued as per the batch requisition slip from warehouse and verify the quantity and Analytical Report Number. 4.2 Ensure that corrugated boxes should be free from dust. 4.3 Keep corrugated box in defined location in front of Cartooning area. 4.4 Take one by one corrugated box in Cartooning area and care should be taken to cut one side outer surface of box with poly bag. 4.5 Keep the shipper on the table and open the box from cut side. 4.6 Inspect the empty tube/pouch randomly for any defects and mix up. 4.7 Clean the tubes with air pressure NLT 2.0kg/cm². 4.8 Transfer the tube manually by pushing with head into the cassettes. 4.9 Load the cassette in trolley, cover with polybag and transfer to general corridor of filling area through hatch door in respective material entry room of filling area. 4.10 For pouches, load in crates and cover with poly bag then transfer to the respective filling area through corridor. 4.11 In case of any discrepancies observed it should be informed immediately to filling officer/supervisor and box should be kept aside for further decision. |
