| Operation of Electromagnetic Sieve Shaker |
1.0 OBJECTIVE To lay down the procedure for Operation of Electromagnetic Sieve Shaker. 2.0 SCOPE This Procedure is applicable for the Operation of Electromagnetic Sieve Shaker in Quality control department. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY QC – Officer/ Sr. Officer /Executive/Sr. Executive and above. 4.0 ACCOUNTABILITY Head-QC 5.0 PROCEDURE 5.1 Ensure the platform and the instrument is clean and dry 5.2 Switch “ON” the main power supply to the instrument. 5.3 Switch “ON” switch provided on the back side of electromagnetic sieve shaker EMS-8 followed by ‹ Time Power › appear on the display on the instrument. Where ab, cd are the numbers of previous set default value. 5.4 Put the sieve/sieve with collector and lid on the platform of the instrument and fix tightly with the help of two knob provided with the instrument. 5.5 Select the continuous mode with the help of key provided on in front panel of the instrument. 5.6 Select the power at ‘20’ and timer as per standard testing procedure with the help of up and down key provided on in front panel of the instrument. 5.7 Press “Start” Key for shaking of the sample, after completion of shaking instrument will stop automatically. 5.8 Switch “OFF” the instrument and the main power supply. 5.9 Clean the instrument and platform with the tissue paper or clean and dry cloth. |
