1.0 OBJECTIVE: 1.1 To lay down the procedure for Operation of Heating Mantle in Quality control department. 2.0 SCOPE: 2.1 This procedure is applicable for the Heating Mantle in Laboratory at Quality Control Laboratory. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY: 3.1 Quality Control Officer / Executive is responsible to follow procedure as per the procedure mentioned in this SOP. 3.2 QC Head is responsible for implementation and compliance of the procedure as per this SOP in quality control department. 4.0 ABBREVIATIONS 4.1 SOP : Standard Operating Procedure To Read this SOP Click Here SOP on Preparation of User Requirement Specification (URS) for Quality Control Instruments. 5.0 PROCEDURE: 5.1 Ensure the working area is clean and free from dust. 5.2 Switch on the power supply. 5.3 A red indicator glows. 5.4 Adjust the knob to set the required temperature. 5.5 Keep the sample in a glass container on the heating mantle. 5.6 Remove the sample container from the heating mantle after heating/boiling is completed. 5.7 Set the temperature knob to zero and switch off the power supply. |
