1.0 OBJECTIVE:-
1.1 To provide the written guidelines for the Operation and Cleaning of Oil jacketed kettle.
2.0 SCOPE:-
2.1 The scope of this SOP is for the preparation of paste using Oil jacketed kettle.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:-
3.1 Execution: Operator.
3.2 Checking: Production officer.
4.0 ACCOUNTABILITY:

5.0 PROCEDURE:
5.1 OPERATION:
5.1.1 Check for the clean of the equipment.
5.1.2 Pour the required amount of D.M. Water in to the vessel
5.1.3 Switch on the Heater & Set the required temperature.
5.1.4 Start the Stirring & add previously prepared Slurry in to the boiling water.
5.1.5 Stir it continuously to get uniform paste.
5.1.6 Switch off the heater
5.1.7 Tilt the Kettle and collect the paste in S.S. Container.
5.2 Cleaning
5.2.1 Fill the vessel with tap water and scrap the adhered mass with soft brush and drain it.
5.2.2 Wash again with tap water and then rinse with require amount of D.M. Water.
5.2.3 Record the details as per Annex -1 of this SOP.
