Step-by-Step Procedure to Loose Pack Tablets as per Batch Packing Record 1

1.0 OBJECTIVE: –

1.1 To loose pack tablets as specified in the Batch Packing Record. To conduct packing operation error free.

2.0 SCOPE: –

2.1 This procedure is applicable for Loose Pack of tablets when it is not possible to pack online on conveyer belt.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:-

5.0 Procedure to Loose Pack Tablets

5.1 Take line clearance from Q.A. Department as per respective SOP.
5.2 Affix a stage label at specified.
5.3 Arrange worker as per “packing-type: chart” and start the conveyer belt.
5.4 Check Bottles for broken tablets, Correct Counting, any kind of rejected tablets, Presence of Pusher & proper capping etc.
5.5 Count it as per batch packing profile given in the Batch Production Record (BPR) of the product being packed.
5.6 Check the quality of Stickers (for coding quality, printing matter and physical condition of Stickers) and put them on filled Bottles.
5.7 Arrange the bottles in to the inner shipper (whereas applicable) and then in outer Corrugated box and seal it using BOPP gum tape.
5.8 Record the data as per the requirement in log record.
5.9 Affix a shipper label on each corrugated box and arrange them on a pellet.
