5.0 Procedure of Vibro shifter:
5.1 Procedure for cleaning of Vibro shifter:
5.1.1 Disconnect the unit from electrical mains & remove plug before starting cleaning operations.
5.1.2 CLEANING PROCEDURE FOR PRODUCT-TO-PRODUCT CHANGE OVER.
| 01 | Cleaning of outer surface. | Clean the outer surface with moist cloth and dry with a dry lint free cloth. |
| 02. | Dismantling | Loosen the holding clamps and remove the Sieve holding rings, Sieve, Hopper & Gasket. |
| 03. | Cleaning sieve holding rings, hopper & gaskets. | Take out holding rings, hopper and gaskets to the washing area. Wash them with water, scrubbing with clean nylon scrubber. Wash thoroughly with hot D. M. Water. |
| 04. | Cleaning of Sieve. | Take sieve to washing area. Wash it with hot DM water scrubbing With nylon scrubber. Wash thoroughly with D. M. Water. |
| 05. | Drying | Dry all parts with clean dry cloth. Air-dry the sieves. |
| 06. | Assembling | Fix the sieve, ring & hopper on sifter body. Tie clean polyethylene bag on the chute to cover the opening. Cover the sifter with lid. |
5.2 Procedure for Operation:
5.2.1 Check the sieve for integrity and cleanliness. (As per respective SOP)
5.2.2 Affix a stage label on machine.
5.2.3 Take line clearance from Q.A. Department as per respective SOP
5.2.4 Fix the sieve on the sifter as mentioned in BMR of respective product, set the S.S. frame above it, and tighten it with surrounding fixing clamps.
5.2.5 Keep a clean plastic container lined with single poly bag below the granule delivery chute of the sifter.
5.2.6 Charge the material as shown in Batch Production Record of respective product using clean scoop.
5.2.7 Collect the sifted material into the plastic container duly labelled with appropriate stage label located below the material delivery chute.
5.2.8 Collect oversize material (where as applicable) in another container.
5.2.9 Affix a “TO BE CLEANED” tag on machine.
5.2.10 Precaution : At the end of sifting operation no material should remain within the sifter.
