1.0 OBJECTIVE: 1.1 To lay down the procedure for Cleaning and Sanitization in Production Area. 2.0 SCOPE: 2.1 This procedure is applicable for the Cleaning and Sanitization in Production Area. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY: 3.1 Trained Technician shall be responsible for cleaning of the area as per the procedure mentioned in this SOP. 3.2 Production / Supervisor shall be responsible for implementation of the procedure as per this SOP. 3.3 Head-Production shall be responsible for implementation of this procedure. To read this SOP click here SOP for Operating And Cleaning Procedure For Automatic Liquid Bottle Filling Machine. 4.0 PROCEDURE: 4.1 Cleaning Procedure 4.1.1 Flush the area with potable water. 4.1.2 Rub the whole area with the help of floor scrubbing machine. 4.1.3 Remove the adhering water from the area. 4.1.4 Clean the wall with 0.1%w/v Teepol solution (e.g. 10 gm Teepol in to 10 L of potable water), followed by disinfectant solution. 4.1.5 Clean the wall with potable water until the removal of foam. 4.1.6 Finally rinse the area with purified water. 4.1.7 Drain the water and allow it to dry completely. 4.2 Sanitization Procedure: 4.2.1 Freshly prepare 2.5 %v/v solution of sanitizing agent (Savlon and Dettol). Total volume with water 2.5% V/V Savlon 2.5% V/V Dettol 1000 ml (1.0 Liter) 25 ml. 25 ml. 4.2.2 Sanitize the area with sanitizing agent by floor scrubbing machine. 4.2.3 Cleaning and sanitization done shift start, shift end or “B” type cleaning either any maintenance work done. 4.2.4 Sanitizing with Dettol 2.5% or Savlon 2.5%, inter change both the solution every fortnightly. 5.0 ABBREVIATIONS 5.1 SOP : Standard Operating Procedure 5.2 QA : Quality Assurance |
