1.0 OBJECTIVE: 1.1 lay down the procedure to ensure the cleaning of factory uniforms and shoes. 2.0 SCOPE: 2.1 This procedure is applicable at Cleaning of Factory Uniform and Shoes. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY: 3.1 Implementation : HR Assistant 3.2 Follow up: Executive-HR 3.3 Overall responsibility: Manager –HR 4.0 ABBREVIATIONS 4.1 SOP : Standard Operating Procedure 4.2 N/A : Not Applicable 5.0 PROCEDURE: 5.1 All the Workmen shall be required to wear uniforms and shoes provided by the company while at work. 5.2 If the workman reports for duty in improper/ unclean dress and shoes, he shall not be allowed to work until he reports back for duty properly attired. 5.3 Preparation of Solutions: Detergent / Disinfectant Brand Quantity Detergent Detergent or equivalent Washing Powder About 10 ml in a 10 to 12 liters of water Disinfectant Dettol 125 ml in 5 liter water Savlon 125 ml. in 5 liter water IPA 70 ml IPA & 30 ml Water To read this SOP click here SOP for Entry And Exit Of Staff And Visitors. 5.4 Procedure for Uniform Cleaning: 5.4.1 Uniform shall be collected from bins of Respective department. 5.4.2 Uniform shall be cleaned in washing machine using detergent / disinfectant solution as per given Table. 5.4.3 Dry the uniform in a dryer of washing machine. 5.4.4 Iron the uniform. 5.4.5 Place uniform according to uniform size in a bag. 5.4.6 Place the bag in a uniform cupboard of the respective department. 5.5 Procedure for Slipper Cleaning: 5.5.1 Slipper shall be collected from each racks of respective department twice in a month for cleaning. 5.5.2 Slipper shall be cleaned in laundry area using detergent / disinfectant solution as per given Table. 5.5.3 After cleaning with detergent/disinfectant washed the slippers with water. 5.5.4 Dry the slipper with the help of air/dry with white cloth. 5.5.5 Place the slippers according to slipper size in a bag. 5.5.6 Place the bag in a uniform cupboard of the respective department. 5.6 Cleaning Records: 5.6.1 After each cleaning activities, enter the necessary entries into Uniform cleaning register Slipper Cleaning Register. 5.7 Frequency: 5.7.1 Rotation frequency of disinfectant: Change of disinfectant every week. 5.7.2 Rotation frequency of uniforms: Everyday 5.7.3 Rotation frequency of Slippers: Once in a week |
