1.0 OBJECTIVE: 1.1 To lay down the procedure for Common Chromatographic Techniques. 2.0 SCOPE: 2.1 This procedure is applicable for the Common Chromatographic Techniques applicable to HPLC and GC analysis in the Quality Control Laboratory. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY: 3.1 Quality Control Officer / Executive are responsible to follow procedure as per the procedure mentioned in this SOP. 3.2 QC Head is responsible for implementation and compliance of the procedure as per this SOP quality control department. 4.0 ABBREVIATIONS 4.1 SOP : Standard Operating Procedure 4.2 QC : Quality Control 4.3 QA : Quality Assurance 4.4 HPLC : High Performance Liquid Chromatograph 4.5 GC : Gas Chromatograph To Read this sop Click here SOP for Operation and Calibration of Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR). 5.0 PROCEDURE: 5.1 Before proceeding to the analysis on GC or HPLC instruments ensure that : 5.1.1 The mobile phase shall be filtered and degassed. 5.1.2 The column shall be washed and saturated before use. 5.1.3 The system and column are equilibrated with the mobile phase. 5.1.4 Base line should be smooth. 5.1.5 One trial run or RT confirmation run shall be taken before actual proceeding. 5.1.6 The chromatogram shall pass the suitability parameters specified in the individual respective testing procedure. 5.1.7 There should not be any extraneous peak in the blank run. 5.1.8 The print out of the sequence run shall be attached with the raw data for reference of each and every analyzed batch. |
