1.0 OBJECTIVE: 1.1 To lay down the procedure for Stacking and Storage of Raw and Packaging Materials in Warehouse. 2.0 SCOPE: 2.1 This procedure is applicable for the Stacking and Storage of Raw and Packaging Materials at Warehouse. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY: 3.1 Assistant– Warehouse will be responsible for stacking and storage of material in the warehouse as per their storage condition and location. 4.0 ABBREVIATIONS 4.1 CCR : Change Control Request 4.2 AHU : Air Handling Units To read this SOP click here SOP for Receipt, Quarantine, Intimation To Qc, Sampling And Approval / Rejection Of Raw Material. 5.0 PROCEDURE: 5.1 All the materials are stacked on its respective locations as per the requirement of status of the material. 5.2 The “Rejected Materials” are stored in the rejected material storage area under lock and key facility. 5.3 Clean the racks and the external cleaning of the material containers under storage once in fortnight. 5.4 Materials are properly stacked on racks for convenient issuance. 5.5 Arrange the materials on racks for easy and convenient for physical checking and counting. 5.6 Do not store the Raw and Packaging Material on floor. All the Product labels and Printed Packaging Material are stored under lock and key facility. 5.7 Do not store any material in front of the AHU grills. |
