1.0 OBJECTIVE:
1.1 To lay down a procedure for Operation of Air Handling Units, Exhaust, Supply and Ventilations Units.
2.0 SCOPE:
2.1 This procedure is applicable for all Air Handling Units, Exhaust & Supply & Ventilation Units.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
3.1 Standard Operating Procedure : Concerned Technician
3.2 Standard Operating Procedure: Officer -Engineering.

5.0 PROCEDURE:
5.1 PRE STARTUP CHECKUP
5.1.1 Ensure Power supply shall ON from Main panel for all Air Handling Units, Global Exhaust and Global Supply and Ventilations Units.
5.1.2 All VFD’s and Starters shall Start in Manual mode.
5.1.3 Check if any abnormal noise from Motor blower unit.
5.2 STARTING PROCEDURE
5.2.1 All AHUs, Global Exhaust, Global Supply and all ventilation Unit shall start through individual panel which is mounted on the unit it self .
5.2.2 Switch ON Corridor’s AHUs and Global Exhaust Unit shall start before 10 minutes of other AHUs as scheduled
5.2.3 Switch ON all other AHUs, Global Supply and Ventilation Units after 10 minutes as scheduled.
5.2.4 All AHU’s is set for Design Temperature and RH settings. If there is any change in room condition requirement then Engineering Officer can only change the setting from the individual AHU panel.
5.2.5 If any area and AHU has any problem, record it in respective AHU History Card.
