1.0 OBJECTIVE: 1.1 To lay down a procedure for Operation of Effluent Treatment Plant. 2.0 SCOPE: 2.1 This procedure is applicable for the Effluent treatment plant. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY: 3.1 The Concerned Technician shall carry out the Standard Operating Procedure. 3.2 The Officer -Engineering shall be responsible for implementation of Standard Operating Procedure. 3.3 Head of Engineering Department and Head of concerned department are responsible for overall implementation of Standard Operating Procedure. 4.0 ABBREVIATIONS 4.1 SOP : Standard Operating Procedure 4.2 QA : Quality Assurance 4.3 CC NO : Change Control Number To Read this sop Click here SOP for Operation and Calibration of Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR). 5.0 PROCEDURE: 5.1 PRE STARTUP CHECKUP: 5.1.1 Ensure Power supply shall ON from Main panel for Effluent Treatment plant. 5.1.2 Ensure that blower should on during operation on all time or compressed air should be on at all the time. 5.2 STARTING PROCEDURE: 5.2.1 Clean oil & Grease Trap. 5.2.2 Check that Equalization tank is filled from Effluent treatment tank & sewerage tank. 5.2.3 Switch on Pump-1 to treat from equalization tank to Primary settling tank. 5.2.4 Dose Alum, Caustic & Polyelectrolyte in the Primary settling tank. 5.2.5 Check the flow of water from Primary settling tank to Aeration Tank. 5.2.6 Check aeration tank, there should be proper air flow. 5.2.7 Check that organic sludge is settling in secondary clarifier and clean water is flowing to the storage tank. 5.2.8 Discharge water by switch on Pump-3 from storage tank through sand & Carbon filter for gardening purpose. 5.2.9 Drain sludge by operating V3, V4 and from primary clarifier by operating V1 & V2. |
