1.0 OBJECTIVE: 1.1 To lay down a procedure for Change Over from SEB to Diesel Generator Set and Diesel Generator Set to SEB. 2.0 SCOPE: 2.1 This procedure is applicable for Change Over from SEB to Diesel Generator Set and Diesel Generator Set to SEB. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY: 3.1 Change Over Procedure – Concerned Technician 3.2 Implementation of Change over Procedure – Officer Engineering 3.3 Compliance of Change over Procedure – Head Engineering Department 4.0 ABBREVIATIONS 4.1 SOP : Standard Operating Procedure 4.2 CC NO : Change Control Number 4.3 ACB : Air Circuit Breaker 4.4 SEB : State Electricity Board 4.5 D.G. : Diesel Generator 4.6 LT : Low tension To Read this SOP Click here SOP for Operation & Cleaning Of Quarantine Storage Tanks. 5.0 PROCEDURE: 5.1 Diesel Generator Set to S.E.B. 5.1.1 When HPSEB power is available, Switch OFF the D.G. Incomer ACB of LT panel room & Switch on the incomer ACB of Transformer. 5.1.2 Now change the position of each breaker given on the LT panel from DG supply to HPSEB supply. 5.1.3 Maintain the power factor in between 0.95 to 0.99. 5.2 S.E.B. To Diesel Generator Set: 5.2.1 When S.E.B. is not available, main incomer ACB from transformer will be switched off automatically. 5.2.2 Make sure that D.G. is started, and check the voltage and frequency of D.G. power supply is proper (voltage should be 400V to 415V and Frequency should be 49Hz to 51 Hz) 5.2.3 Switch on the main incomer ACB of DG given on the LT panel. 5.2.4 Change the each breaker switch position from S.E.B supply to D.G. supply. |
